On the occasion of previous business trips with the VTC Vietnam delegation (4 people) attending the international fair and the delegation of the North Lottery Board (8 people) to survey the market, I had the opportunity to visit twice to Europe and the Netherlands, the country of Tulips, Windmills and Woodpeckers.

Over the centuries, wind power poles are also era works intermingled with world-famous squares and museums there. The special thing here is that most of these constructions are below sea level protected by the world's largest seawall and dykes systems. In April 2018, I was on a business trip to Europe (Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland). Every time I get the chance to go to Europe, I always like to visit the Netherlands as there are plenty of wonderful places to see. This time I planned to spend one weekend to visit the Netherlands and I was hosted by  Mr. Thuyen Tran, director and owner of Timath Travel Europe. He offered me to stay at his house in Amsterdam. Mr. Thuyen Tran spent the entire weekend to show me around. On Saturday (April 21^st) we went to Tulpenpluktuin Drenthe, just north of Amsterdam about 2 hours away to see the gigantic and picturesque tulip fields. The weather was fantastic and we took a lot of pictures with the colourful tulips.

On Sunday we visited the Zaanse Schans – the traditional Dutch village in Zaandam filled with wooden houses, mills and barns. It was only about 20 minutes north of Amsterdam. It’s beautiful windmills, handicraft shops and museums attract a lot of local and foreign visitors all year long. Mr. Thuyen Tran explained to me the Dutch history on the river Zaan. In the evening, he brought me to a special seafood restaurant in a town near the ocean and I won’t forget how fresh and delicious it was – it had been a while since I could enjoy fresh seafood like that. I enjoyed the whole trip catching up with him and learning about the wonderful city as we toured and sat around several gardens having a nice beer.
 
Mr. Thuyen Tran made my short trip very worthwhile with perfect company, great sights and many memorable laughs. One thing is for sure, he is very fluent and knowledgeable about the local culture and environment. I look forward to the day I can come back, catch up and visit the amazing and interesting undiscovered places.

We were two families with 7 people from Sydney and Perth, Australia had been visiting the Netherlands in April 2015 when travelling to Europe.
 
Before visiting the Netherland we were recommended if we go to Holland in April, don’t forget to visit a most famous place - the Tulip Garden Keukenhof that every traveller to the Netherlands should not miss.

During the days we had been in the Netherlands the weather was very windy raining hardly. Fortunately we had a chance to be hosted and taken care very well by Mr. Thuyen Tran, Director of Timath Travel Europe and his staff.

We went to visit the Tulip Garden Keukenhof where we could see and admire various kinds of beautiful colourful flowers blooming with our own eyes. Beside that we could visit Zaanse Schans Windmills - a famous traditional Dutch village with old windmills from many centuries ago and beautiful handicraft shops, not far away from the Amsterdam. In fact both tulips and windmills are symbol of Holland, we got to know now.
 
We also discovered the city of Amsterdam with many beautiful canals and small bridges (about 1500 pieces with a total length of more than 100 km), the ancient Train Central Station, the famous "red light district" and the old Dam Square in the centre of the city. Amazingly there were many restaurants with different delicious food and dishes from different nations and countries where you can enjoy your meals at any time here.
 
Although our stay in the Netherlands was short, we had got wonderful, unforgettable and enjoyable experiences. With their knowledge, their attention and responsibility, Mr. Thuyen Tran and his staff had definitely made our group very satisfied. From that point of view, it is highly recommended to use the company’s services when travelling and exploring the Netherlands in particular and Europe in general.

“We are a couple from the Netherlands. Me and my wife Laksmono Ingdriati Melani wanted to go on holiday to Vietnam in January 2015. Through our good friend we got to know Mr. Thuyen Tran and his Timath Travel company for organizing our whole trip to and in South Vietnam for 11 days.

We were very well received on arrival at Saigon airport and taken to Hotel Majestic Saigon.

The first day we started the city tour of Saigon by visiting:

• The Unification Palace
• War Museum
• Notre Dame Cathedral
• China Town (Cho Lon)
• Vinh Nghiem Pagoda
• Paintwork factory

The second day we spent our time visiting Ben Tre and Can Tho.

The third day we took a boat trip at Cai Rang floating market, we discovered the daily life and business of the villagers on the Mekong River.

The next 3 days we flew from Saigon to Hue city and visited

• The old citadel
• The Imperial City and the Royal Enclosure.
• Thien Mu Pagoda with one way boat ride on The Perfume River.
• The Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh
• Dong Ba Market

Last days we went by car from Hue to Da Nang, discovered Tra Que – vegetable village, did farm work as villagers and enjoyed a meal there.

Later, we were transferred to Da Nang city to visit Marble Mountains and Ba Na Hills.

Finally we visited Hoi An - an ancient city:

• Tan Ky old commercial house
• Japanese Pagoda Bridge
• The old trading house of Phung Hung

During our short stay, we got a really good idea and idea of ​​the culture and people here, as we were aware of the Vietnam wars in the past.

Our journey through part of the country was over. It was a nice trip and everything went well. All transportation by car or plane (Vietnam Airlines) and speaking English speaking guide were available and included according to the scheduled program. Hotels were 5 star except in Can Tho, it was a 4 star hotel.

In retrospect, we regret not taking a trip from Da Nang or Hoi An to My Son. Luckily we had time in Da Nang to visit the Cham museum.

Last but not least I forgot to say that we had always eaten well to very well, sometimes even a little too much of good and delicious food because we thought we had gained a little more weight.

In 2014, my father and I travelled to Europe to visit a relative in Berlin, Germany for a couple days.
